At the Airport
Our commitment to excellent service begins when you arrive at the Yampa Valley Airport in Hayden. Our Steamboat ski rental kiosk is conveniently located around the corner from baggage claim. While you wait for your luggage to arrive, you can set up an equipment rental and delivery, check on your existing rentals or get answers to any questions you might have about Steamboat.

On the Mountain
Black Tie Ski Rental Delivery of Steamboat also has TWO on-mountain locations, including our newest ski in/ ski out rental and retail store offering socks, helmets, gloves, goggles and more located in the Ptarmigan Inn. We offer customers the ability to swap equipment at the mountain, and also cater to walk-in business.

The ski area at Steamboat is not just one mountain, but a complete mountain range called the Park Range and consists of Mount Werner, Sunshine Peak, Storm Peak, Thunderhead Peak, Pioneer Ridge, and Christie Peak. Proclaimed as “SkiTown USA”, Steamboat Springs and nearby Steamboat Ski Resort are located in northwest Colorado, 160 miles from Denver. Steamboat is known for its Champagne Powder™ snow – in fact, the phrase was coined locally! Kids love the nighttime snow tubing and experts rave about the Mavericks terrain park, featuring the 450 foot long Mavericks Superpipe. With a family friendly atmosphere, Steamboat offers a wide range of terrain for skiers and riders of all abilities – 14% Beginner, 42% Intermediate, & 44% Advanced.Just in case you didn’t get enough skiing in during the day, the resort also offers night skiing. Ski under the lights across 5 trails including Sitz, See Me, Vogue, Stampede and Lil’ Rodeo. All levels of skiing and riding will be available with 2 beginner, 2 intermediate and 1 advanced trail.
