What does “ski rental delivery” actually mean?

Black Tie Ski Rentals is a full service delivery ski and snowboard rental shop. We take the information you give us on your reservation (height, weight, shoe size and ability) and the package you selected and hand select a choice of skis for you. We then pack that equipment up, drive to your lodging and fit you in the comfort of where you are staying.

 

How do I make a reservation?

What hours are you open?

  • Delivery Hours – 8:00am to 8:00pm, 7 days a week.
  • Slope-side Storage Center Hours – 8:00am to 5:00pm.
  • Reservation Phone Hours – 9:00am to 4:00pm, Mountain time.

There can be a lot of travel delays and other issues related to making your delivery time so we try to keep the line open completely during the evening when most of our deliveries happen.

 

How do you select my equipment?

We select equipment based on the package you selected, your stats that you have provided to us on your reservation (height, weight, shoe, size) and your skier ability. We also take conditions of our mountain into account at any given time. If there is anything else you would like us to know and keep in mind while selecting equipment for you, please put that in the notes while making your reservation or contact reservations so they can add that information to your reservation for our technicians.

 

What if I have a problem with my equipment?

In the rare event that something happens with your equipment we are just a phone call, text or email away. We will meet you back at your accommodations at your convenience, within reason.

 

Do you rent helmets?

Yes, we rent helmets for all ages and sizes. This option is available as an add on for any person on your reservation.

 

What does the Damage Waiver cover?

An optional damage waiver is available and covers damage to equipment caused by normal wear and tear incurred while skiing. It does not cover damage due to negligence, theft, or loss. If you are skiing our Premium gear, we strongly recommend selecting the damage waiver.

 

What if I have my own boots?

If you have your own boots, you fall into the category of “ski or snowboard only” when selecting your package. In this case, we will just bring you skis and poles or your snowboard on its own. We also give you a little relief on the price when you bring your own boots.

 

Do you offer any grace days?

We will offer one grace day if you are skiing for 5 days or more.

 

Do you have storage at your base location?

Yes, we do offer storage at our base location. Due to the limited capacity, you will have to reserve a space. The cost is $7 per day, per person on your reservation. Another perk of this service is how seamless we make your delivery to storage experience. We will come to your lodging, as usual, fit your party, then pack everything back up and bring it to our Amenities Storage Center for you that same night so it is all ready for you the next morning in your reserved space. Please note that you are able to keep your boots, skis and poles overnight, but all personal items and rented helmets will need to be taken with you at the end of every ski day.

 

Do you still offer kids rent free?

We no longer offer the kids rent free deal.
